The Concept of setting up avenues to bring specialist child health services closer to the population in the communities in Ghana, was hatched in 2008.
COY Paediatrics started in a rented consulting room in an obstetric facility on 11th August 2008 as a part-time outpatient clinic. It experienced its rebirth as a fulltime clinic in 2012.
Currently COY Paediatrics has 2 clinic sites. The premier site in community 6, Tema which began operation on 22nd March 2014 and the other site in Community 25, Tema opened to the public on 1st June 2018.
Over the years, COY has grown from a name that prompted passerby to walk in and enquire about what services were provided by the entity to the Preferred Hospital for parents in Tema Metropolis and its environs who require expert management for their children’s health needs.
The Practice provides hospital-based services and community-based services that ensure the optimal growth and wellbeing of every child.

Dr. Mrs. Christina Osei-Yeboah
Executive Director
A Consultant Paediatrician and Public Health Specialist with 2 decades plus experience in service. A Fellow of both the West African College of Physicians and the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons. Actively involved in the training and examination of Paediatrician in Ghana and the West African subregion. She is also a Public Health M&E expert in the subregion. Her rich experience in Paediatrics and Public health enables her to ensure all medical services address the needs of clients. Her love and passion for the wellbeing of children is infectious.
Mrs. Caroline Duamroh
Nurses Manager
A Paediatric Nurse and a senior Nursing officer with a decade of experience in Paediatric nursing, championing great customer care and quality improvement. Her professionalism and excellent service earned her the 2021/2022 Best Nurse of LEKMA district. She is a clinical educator in Paediatrics for the Ghana College of Nurses & midwives. A great hands-on teacher. She shares the COY passion for excellence in service delivery with minimal discomfort.
Dr. Stephanie Arko–Dontoh
Clinic Manager
A warm and experienced person who ensures every client who walks into COY has access to a qualified doctor at post to attend to their needs. She is responsible for the continuous medical education and welfare of COY doctors A liaison between management and prescribers.
Mrs. Rhoda Engmann
Accounts Manager
Rhoda Engmann is a Senior Accounts Officer who is a dedicated and detailed oriented professional poised to administer the financial performance of the organization. She holds a Master of Business administration degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Professional Studies.
