School Health Services: As part of our policy in ensuring optimal health care for all children, Coy Paediatric Practice offers routine medical screening for school children. This affords one the opportunity to ensure good health of our children, identifying early problems that will mitigate against their optimal development, treating and linking to appropriate care those who are unwell. Through the school health services , appropriate health education is provided to caregivers during school screening sessions or at PTA meetings. Children with challenges coping at school are also assessed and managed appropriately.

Health Fair: COY Paediatrics organize and participate in activities that seek to improve and ensure good child health. These include collaborations with corporate organizations, religious groups and children’s events with such intent.

Health education and advocacy: COY is passionate about ensuring the well-being of our children. Children thrive in healthy homes. Health education to organized groups is a core part of our service delivery mandate. COY advocates and provides opportunities for preventing debilitating diseases. COY champions the screening for life threatening conditions which affect parents and the mental/ emotional wellbeing of children like breast cancer for prompt interventions.
